The total number of students currently enrolled is 6,453 students from more than 50 different countries. Cairo University Cairo University ranked between 561-570 in the QS World Ranking and 11th for the same classification at the Arab level for the year 2020. Cairo University is one of the oldest Egyptian universities, founded in 1908 and was called the Egyptian University. Today, its name may sound a bit misleading, especially since the university campus is located in Giza, approximately 20 km from Cairo. The university includes 26 colleges in various scientific disciplines, and a total of about 250 thousand students are enrolled. It has adopted unconventional methods for developing academic research in an effort to meet the needs of society and research and to encourage scholars and researchers. Ain Shams University Ain Shams University Ain Shams University was ranked between 800 – 1000 globally and 14th in the Arab world according to the QS classification for the year 2020. The university was founded in 1950 in Cairo, becoming the third oldest university in Egypt. It is one of the large educational institutions with about 180,000 students distributed over 15 different colleges. Alexandria University Alexandria University Alexandria University ranked 801-1000 globally and ranked 16th in the Arab world according to the QS classification for the year 2020. The university was founded in 1938 as a branch of Cairo University, but it became independent from it to become a separate educational entity in 1942 and was called “Alexandria University” in 1952 .
